Is it possible to update my tweets without loosing the position I’m currently in (in the list of past tweets?). What I mean is; suppose I haven’t checked / updated Twitter (on Gravity) for 3hrs, so the tweets I see when I select Twitter are 3hrs old. Now I (go onlne and) update Twitter. The screen automatically shoots up to the last Tweet(s), making me have to scroll down and look for the position e.g. the last tweet I was seeing seconds ago.
Why ask? When it’s just 3hrs it’s no biggy, but when I’ve been offline for a day or 2 it’s rather ennoying AND there’s a cut off point (I think?) in how for one can go back in their timeline. So 2 Q’s actually..
Thanks very much!

Maddy, I and a lot of others have asked @janole to ‘fix’ this behaviour. Judging by progress on other frequently-asked questions, it will happen, but only ‘eventually’. Please hold your breath.
#Gravity, in theory, should fix the tweet position if you exit the app, but in practice it doesn’t really work too well. The main timeline is fixed to a maximum of 200 tweets. It’s nowhere near enough – @janole has promised me a couple of times that he’ll produce a custom version for me to test, with a bigger message store, but he’s a busy man with lots of people asking him similar questions.
Yes, I know this doesn’t help you.

Cheers for that – I’ll hold my breath for a while and/or switch apps at some point ’cause it bugs the %^&* out of me
